Case Study: Client Relieved to Find Hair Loss Not Medically Induced After Ashley and Martin Order Blood Tests

When 32 year old Adele* came to Ashley and Martin she had already tried using natural therapies and vitamin supplements to treat her hair loss.  This had unfortunately been unsuccessful and the results she was hoping for had not eventuated.  Hoping for a treatment that would prove effective, Adele came to Ashley and Martin.

The consultant Adele sought advice from could see that her androgenic alopecia, or female pattern hair loss, was characterised by a decrease in density across the top of her head.  He took photos of her hair loss and discussed her desired outcomes with her.  As is standard protocol with all women who attend Ashley and Martin looking for answers to their hair loss problems, blood tests were ordered to rule out any underlying medical conditions contributing to the changes in her hair.  The clinic doctor read the test results after they were done and Adele was informed that they had revealed nothing out of the ordinary.  Relieved to find that her hair loss was not medically induced, Adele decided to treat her progressive hair loss condition with the recommended Laser Therapy option she had been given.

Over the next four months Adele used her Laser Cap as directed, working up from using it for five minutes at a time to the optimal half hour.  After four months of regular use of her Laser Cap, Adele came back to see her consultant for an Ashley and Martin Review of her progress.  He took photos of her hair again and put these new photos up against the ones that were taken in her first consultation.  The evident regrowth that could be seen in these comparison photos cemented a sense of confidence in the treatment program for Adele.  So much so that she told her consultant that she would recommend using Ashley and Martin to any of her friends if they lost their hair in the future.
