Case Study: Client Receives Understanding at Ashley and Martin
Emma’s* hair had started to thin in her late thirties. In the beginning she thought nothing of it. It was barely noticeable and as long as she styled it right no one else could tell. After a few years of her hair gradually becoming more sparse Emma started to use medicated shampoos in the bid to keep her hair.
At 41 Emma realised that unless she acted quickly, her hair loss would be immediately visible to other people when they met and she started to give serious consideration to seeking help for her problem. It was an issue her own mother had also had to deal with in her early 30’s. Knowing what was in store for her if she left it untreated Emma took a proactive approach and called Ashley and Martin.
At her first appointment her consultant assessed her thinning hairline, temples and partline. Emma told her consultant that her mother had lost her hair in the same fashion when she was younger and 20 years later it was thin all over, not just in those areas.
