Case Study: Ashley and Martin Treatment Fits into Busy Lifestyle

Ashlee* did not know what to do about the fact her hair had been thinning for 5 years.  She knew she wanted to stop it, but had no idea where to start.  Concerned about how her appearance was impacted by the constant shedding of hair, Ashlee went online to find the answer.  Before coming to Ashley and Martin Ashlee tried some non-prescription options she found on the internet.  And although they promised to be the solution, she found that nothing stopped her hair from continuing to thin.  Desperate to find something that worked before the problem became worse, she looked online for companies that specialised in hair loss.  She found Ashley and Martin.

Once at the clinic, she received a scalp examination.  The consultant noted a few small patches of Alopecia Areata, however overall Ashlee’s hair loss was consistent with Female Pattern Hair Loss, Grade 1.  The consultant recommended Ashlee use an in home Low Level Laser Treatment device to stimulate her hair to move in to the active growth anagen phase; this would stop her hair from thinning and, over time, regrow her lost hair.   Ashlee went home to discuss this treatment with her husband and a few days later placed an order for an LLLT cap.

After four months using the Laser cap, Ashlee could see visible change in her hair, but she knew there was room for further improvement.  When she came in for a progress check-up after 8 months she was delighted with the outcome of her LLLT treatment.  In addition to her hair becoming denser, she had regrowth in the patches of Alopecia Areata she had initially presented with.  Ashlee told the consultant how happy she was with the regrowth she had achieved.  It was not only a wonderful result for her but the ease of use of the LLLT cap at home meant her treatment fitted into her lifestyle without disruption.
