Case Study 18 – Ashley and Martin Laser Cap Improves Hair Density

Indi’s* friend was a client of Ashley and Martin’s already, so when she came to us to discuss her thin, lifeless hair it was with complete confidence.

Her consultant assessed her hair and the speed at which its density was declining. With classic diffusion in the front, mid-scalp and vertex she was diagnosed with Female Pattern Hair Loss.   As Indi was in good health, had no medical contraindications and no family history of hair loss; her consultant thought Indi’s hair loss would be best treated with in home laser treatments and a nutrient complex designed to maintain and promote hair growth. With a view to stabilising her hair loss and improving hair density he recommended the device and supplements to Indi as her best course of treatment.

Indi was sent for blood tests which were then reviewed by the clinic doctor.  Satisfied with the results of the blood tests, the doctor told the consultant that Indi was a good candidate for a laser cap.  Indi was given comprehensive instruction on how to use the laser device and was assured that if she had any questions or concerns she could either call or come back and see her consultant as often as necessary.

After 4 months using the home laser treatment she returned for a progress check-up.  Her consultant took comparison photos and together they assessed the success of the treatment plan.  Both could see the improvement in density Indi’s hair showed and her consultant was confident that further regrowth would be achieved.  Armed with early pleasing results and knowledge of Ashley and Martin’s RealGROWTH® program for women, the decision about whether continue using only the laser cap and supplements or to compliment the treatment with a medications plan is entirely up to Indi.  If her hair density continues to increase at the current rate she says she is more than happy with the results.
