Case Study 12 – Female Hair Loss Solved for Wedding
A sixty year old female patient presented with ten years of hair loss. There was significant loss through the parting area on the top of the scalp, extending down past the crown area. The areas of loss clearly displayed female pattern baldness. The patient also had a family history of hair loss among female members, particularly as they entered their fifties.
The patient had tried several different methods of treatment in the past including Chinese herbal medications and various supplements, all to no avail. As the patient was intending to marry about twelve months from the time of the consultation, she wanted a method of treatment that would provide the fastest and quickest results possible.
During the consultation, I outlined to the patient the different options available to treat her particular condition. I advised that to expedite results the most effective means available would be a combination of the RealGROWTH® treatment and the laser cap.
The laser cap was issued out to the patient within one week of commencing the program. After conducting blood tests, the patient was issued with the RealGROWTH® solution and anti-androgen tablets about two weeks after the results were received by the doctor.
Although the patient was unable to attend a four month check-up, the results that were evident at the eight month check-up were most impressive.
