Ashley and Martin’s Laser Treatment Boosts Confidence for Teacher
Taking a well-rested holiday from teaching in the Maldives, Harsha* made an appointment for a free consultation. Well aware of Ashley and Martin’s reputation Harsha’s family had urged her to make an appointment to discuss her hair loss whilst on holiday. At Harsha’s initial consultation the consultant performed a scalp examination. She could see Harsha’s hair had become sparse and very fine. In the detailed conversation that followed Harsha confirmed that hair loss ran in her family, through her father and her siblings were also suffering the same. Harsha had used various hair loss treatments and over the counter products, so far none had made any improvement to her hair. Harsha’s consultant diagnosed a combination of female pattern thinning and telogen effluvium, both effecting the growth phase of hair. The consultant explained that every single hair on Harsha’s scalp will be in a growing, resting and shedding stage. The pattern thinning had significantly reduced the growth stage of Harsha’s hair causing new hair to be fine, thin and fuzzy. The teleogen effluvian reduced the amount of hair that switches into a growth stage
There were two possible treatment options for Harsha to consider, a medical treatment or Low Level Laser Therapy plan. As Harsha was returning to the Maldives she chose to undergo LLLT, purchasing her own Lasercap to carry out the treatment in the comfort of her own home.
Eight Months later Harsha returned to the clinic for a review to assess her progress, Harsha was delighted looking at the comparison photos.
