Case Study 06 – Androgenic Alopecia Hair Loss
A 38 year old Persian female attended the free consultation offered by Ashley and Martin, as the consultation proceeded a scalp examination was conducted. It was evident that the pattern of hair loss was characterised by loss of density (Androgenic Alopecia), she indicated in her questionnaire areas of concern were both hair loss and scalp irritations (itchy scalp).
Normal protocol was followed and blood tests were requested to rule out the possibility on an underlining medical condition, on receipt of test results, they were reviewed and okayed by the in house GP. The lady was happy to know her hair loss wasn’t medically induced and realised she had nothing to lose but some more hair if she didn’t treat her progressive hair loss condition with the recommended RealGrowth treatment program.
At the 4th month check-up, her confidence in the treatment program grew as progress photos showed evident regrowth, the final photos at 12 months showed substantial improvement. She has not only kept up with her maintenance package but also referred her friend to Ashley and Martin.
