Case Study: Ashley and Martin Client Astounded at Dramatic Results
Prue* had experienced cyclic hair loss ever since she was seventeen years old. However, in the 36 years her hair had been cycling through its phases of loss and regrowth, it had never reached this concerning stage. Due to the severity of the of her hair loss this time around, Prue had sought advice from specialists to rule out any major health issues that may be behind the loss. Still waiting on results from the specialists she had consulted, Prue called Ashley and Martin for advice.
To cover up her hair loss by visually increasing the volume of her hair, Prue had been using hair fibres. She had tried using a topical solution to treat her hair loss, however she had not liked the process and was loathe to use a topical solution again. Her consultant understood the importance of tailoring a hair loss solution to meet her needs. She was already under a great deal of stress and her consultant did not want to add to that by recommending a treatment that included a topical solution. He suggested Prue use a laser cap to treat her hair. She would be able to perform low level laser therapy treatments in her own home, working her treatment around her busy lifestyle rather than the other way around.
Prue wanted to wait until she had the results of the tests from the specialists before committing to laser therapy and went home to wait.
A month after she had first met with her consultant, Prue underwent another bout of excessive shedding that thinned her hair to an alarming state. She rushed out and bought a wig to try to disguise the loss. There had been no insight, underlying medical condition or treatment options presented to her by the practitioners she had consulted. Prue came back to her hair loss specialist for treatment as soon as there was an appointment available.
The consultant took photos of Prue’s hair without the fibres in this time and together with the clinic GP, proceeded with treatment for Prue’s excessive hair loss.
It was with disbelief that Prue returned to see her consultant for a review of her progress after six months. Her hair had increased in density so radically that it was now thicker than it had been in years. Where bare scalp had been visible she now had thick, lustrous hair. Prue was astounded at the dramatic results she had received from her Ashley and Martin program.
